Gateway Analytical Presents on Analytical Testing Methods for Inhalable Drug Products at Medicon Valley Inhalation Symposium

 Gateway Analytical announces participation in the 6th Medicon Valley Inhalation Symposium (MVIS) in Lund, Sweden being held on October 11-12, 2017. Gateway Analytical will serve as one of the platinum sponsors for the conference, as well as participating in two scientific presentations about analytical testing services for respiratory drug products, developed in collaboration with Next Breath and Circassia.

Gateway Analytical has partnered with both Next Breath and Circassia for a presentation called “SEM-EDS and Raman Spectroscopy to Accelerate Generic Drug Applications” to be given by Dr. Oliver Croad from Circassia on Wednesday, October 11. The talk will focus on the combined approaches used for particle identification, particle size and agglomerates testing services to support regulatory expectations. Additionally, the three companies have worked together to prepare “Advancing in vitro similarity assessment for inhaled tiotropium formulations” which details how they are working together to address specific challenges in developing respiratory drug products. The presentation will be given by Dr. Julie Suman of Next Breath on Thursday, October 12.
