David Exline is President and founder of Gateway Analytical. He’s guided the company and overseen the strategic vision for our analytical laboratory since it was a small start-up. Whether keeping us on the cutting edge by implementing cGMP and ISO quality systems or transitioning operations to a paperless work environment, his position as a thought leader in the industry keeps Gateway Analytical a few steps ahead of the competition.
David is a member of several industry organizations and sits on the board of the PDA Guidelines Committees. His previous experience includes ChemImage, RJ Lee Group, and county and state crime labs. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Slippery Rock University and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
When he’s not running around the office, he likes to buy equipment (microscopes and SEM machines) that are out of order or in need of fixing and play around until he gets them up and working. There’s a room at GA dedicated to his “R&D”.
