Olivia Alfe is a Scientist I at Gateway Analytical focusing on particulate analysis for the pharmaceutical industries. Her prior experience is in ecology field research through the University of Pittsburgh as well as industrial microbiology as a QA Technician at Envera in West Chester, PA. Olivia graduated from Pitt in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology & Evolution, minors in chemistry and Korean language & culture, and a certificate in the conceptual foundations in medicine. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Florida. In her free time, Olivia enjoys learning languages, watching movies, and taking way too many pictures of her cat.
